About This Positivity Practice

This blog is a positivity practice – not the loud, motivational kind, but the quiet, everyday kind.

The kind where we actively notice the most miniscule ounce of kindness. The smallest amount you can think – like thanking the trees for providing us with oxygen.

The kind where we pause long enough to realize and appreciate that something good happened. We think about the free car wash we got instead of the fact that you got soaked through your clothes walking back to your car.

I created this space as a form of gentle accountability. Not productivity accountability. Not self-improvement pressure. Just a simple practice of noticing and recording moments of kindness, growth, and small wins.

It’s so incredibly easy to remember everything that goes wrong and list one on each finger and toe that we have.

But good things happen too – they’re just quieter and drowned out.

This blog is where I keep track of those moments as part of my ongoing positivity practice.

Not because life is perfect because I can attest, it is not.

Nor is positivity going to magically solve every problem you encounter.

But because paying attention changes what we carry with us.
